1. Current position
We use cookies and browser storage needed to sign users in, secure the Service, remember requested settings and support offline/PWA features. We do not currently set advertising cookies or non-essential analytics cookies.
2. Cookies
Names may carry a __Secure- prefix in production where the browser requires it.

The sign-in, organisation-context and security cookies are strictly necessary. NEXT_LOCALE records an explicit appearance or language choice and is used only for that purpose.
3. Local and session storage
ReceiptTidy also stores information in the browser rather than sending it with every request:

These items provide settings or functions requested by the user. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
4. Third-party checkout and connected services
If you enter a Stripe-hosted checkout, Stripe may use its own security and fraud-prevention technologies under its privacy information. Accounting providers and Google sign-in may likewise use cookies on their own domains when you choose to visit or authorise them; ReceiptTidy does not control those external-domain cookies.
5. Choices
You can delete or block cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in, offline capture or preference features from working. Because ReceiptTidy currently sets no non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, there is no marketing-cookie preference to manage. If that changes, we will update this inventory and obtain consent before setting technologies that require it.
